JARED HAYNIE


Jared Haynie has extensive litigation experience in a variety of cases, including complex commercial disputes, real estate litigation, trademark and copyright disputes, and civil rights litigation primarily involving the First Amendment freedom of speech, freedom of association, and freedom of religion. Jared also served for two years as a deputy prosecuting attorney.

He has litigated civil cases in state and federal courts and at the administrative, trial, appellate, and supreme court levels. His experience includes all aspects of litigation, including pleadings and briefing, discovery practice, motion practice, settlement negotiation, oral argument, amicus briefing, trials, and appeals. He is admitted to practice in several states; in many federal courts, including most federal courts of appeal; and at the U.S. Supreme Court. Jared also has significant transactional experience drafting and reviewing contacts, organizational documents, and other legal documents.

Jared has an undergraduate degree in business management from Brigham Young University. He graduated summa cum laude from Ave Maria School of Law, where he served on the law review as executive articles editor. He has also served as a guest executive editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.

Jared has also started a number of business endeavors over the years. His entrepreneurial experience, together with his litigation and legal experience, give him an educated perspective when advising his business clients. Jared enjoys camping, fishing, farming, and spending time with his family.
